Pro 2 glitch when hooked up to s4
Posted on: 18.08.2011 by Grant Tarvin
My Pro 2 keeps glitching when it is hooked up to my s4. The audio wave is glitching. The software doesn't do it when it's disconnected from the s4, and I run it using only the keyboard. I've attempted to reinstall pro2 twice and it hasn't worked. It has to be something with the controller then. It seems to glitch when I set loops, sync between decks, and if I scroll through a song it will glitch when I stop.

Are there any drivers that I may not have installed that go with the s4? Thanks!

Yes and bluetooth, especially if they're searching for something to connect to. If you have Time Machine set to back up automatically then turn it off when you're mixing.

The key words above are when it's searching for something to connect to. If you're connected to a network then you should be fine. That said I have heard of it causing problems even on a Mac.

I've never had a problem with WiFi turned on on mine, but it's a good idea as a starting point if you are having problems.

Chris, do you still need to turn off wifi with a mac? I thought this was only a windows laptop issue?

What system are you running on? Mac or windows? What is your latency?
