When Cueing Track, I Cant Hear The Song When The Slider Is Turned Down .. ?
Posted on: 05.09.2011 by Corine Mccravy
Hello,

Currently experiencing a problem with my S4.. When I have two songs mixing, and I want to cue in the other track (and beatmatch) I cannot hear the song thats being cued - unless I move the slider up.. This is an issue because I don't know what both tracks will sound like when they're being played at the same time.

Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Is it something in the audio settings in Traktor? Thanks

on the hardware, front panel, you have three knobs (from right to left):
mic volume/ cue volume/ cue mix

the cue mix knob reflects the left knob on the software, that is on the right bottom side within Traktor, just above your favorites. If the knob is way to the left, you hear what you are cueing, if it's way to the right you only hear what's coming out of the speakers.
definitely can confirm that - and yep, still the same. when i turn the cue mix knob all the way to the left, you still can't hear whats being played when the slider is completely down.
