Sampling from the S4 to Maschine on a Mac

Hi, i posted this question in NI's community with no help, im hopin perhaps someone can point me in the right direction

i have my denon dn-hc4500 connected to my mixer, denon dn-x800 and sending the output to the S4's Input Channel D 3+4 In.
I can hear whatever track i play on my external dj set but the Maschine is not picking up the audio.
I have installed Soundflower on my Macbook Pro with OSX 10.6.7 because that what someone suggested in reading online but i dont know g=how to configure Soundflower
Maschine is on it latest update 1.7

I'm a little confused as to why you have two mixers connected and all running to the S4, but have you told the Maschine software that Channel D is where the audio is coming in?
