S4 and Vinyl DVS.
S4 and Vinyl DVS. Posted on: 17.09.2011 by dan samo Hi there,Just a question about running the S4 with some normal turntables: I understand the S4 mixer will work with the NI timecode vinyls and a laptop (as it is obviously not a standalone analogue mixer)... now, my question is: will you be able to play normal vinyl records through the S4? I'm wondering if I'll be able to use an S4 alongside my old 1210's and vinyl collection, or whether it'll just be timecode-only, because of the lack of a standalone mixer. Cheers! | |

Karolis Petrauskas 18.09.2011 | It works great BUT you must have traktor turned on. If you are looking just to use your decks with no computer it will not work. I believe most of us have gotten used to the fact and it's not really an issue. It only takes about 3 seconds (or less) to plug in your laptop. |
Leeanna Ayla 17.09.2011 | works like a charm! |
Lacey Mecum 17.09.2011 | best of both worlds |
Harley Zitka 17.09.2011 | You can play regular vinyl or CD's connected to the S4... you just change the deck flavor to "Live Input" for deck C & D. |
