What cables are the best to use? RCA to RCA, dual 1/4 to RCA or something else?

You could make those cables.

Don't believe such a thing exists. It might, but when people talk about dual TRS they mean 2 separate cables.

what I meant was, two separate cables which both have one plug on each end or one cable that has 2 plugs on each end.

dual means two separate.

awesome thanks, also do I use a dual balanced TRS or two separate balanced TRS cables? I can't seem to find a dual balanced TRS online.

If you're plugging into a club mixer, you only need to use RCAs. If it's into a PA system directly, you'd be better off using the balanced outputs.

For a more detailed explanation, read my guide to audio cables (linked in my sig).
