S4/Midifighter four banks mapping confusing Posted on: 18.11.2011 by Keely Gallus Hey guys, I have a midi fighter im using on instagrat, and I notice it's disabled the top row knobs on my s4 and made them pretty much useless and remapped them to the midifighter, that seems like a loss I don't wanna take.Is there a way to separate the two configurations or something so I can bind the effect buttons to whatever I need and keep the midi fighter with its own set of bindings? Thanks in advanceeeee | |

Keely Gallus 17.11.2011 | Thanks a lot of the reply. So is it indeed possible to move those mappings away and have the midifighter have it's own space in the mappings and have the effect buttons on the s4 be used as they came stock, or something like it at least? |
Len Lukawski 17.11.2011 | The 4 banks mode uses the top row to assign commands to each of the decks. By doing this you have lost four buttons but quadrupled the actions on the other 12. IG is based on the 4 banks model so you like any mapping, you can change it to suit as long as you put the time into re-mapping everything. |
