traktor s4 hotcues not loading from TP2 Posted on: 16.11.2011 by Rebeca Brogdon I have loaded a track that has 4 definitive set cues and they are not loading onto the S4 hotcue buttons. Also after I load another track in the same deck, the hotcue buttons remain in the exact same state and color? Please, any info would help. I'm new and not sure if this was already discussed or its something easily fixable. Thanks.I'm using S4 - 3.0.0 driver TP2 - 2.1.1 ver | |

Rebeca Brogdon 17.11.2011 | Thanks alot! Both, very useful tips here. |
Leeanna Ayla 17.11.2011 | Also if you have it set to autogrid songs you can change it in preferences to not use a hot cue by unchecking the box that says set hot cue as grid marker. |
Charline Dye 17.11.2011 | You don't have to use a hot cue for your grid unless you want to. In the advanced panel under the track deck select grid and on the right is a grid marker symbol. If you use that button to drop the grid marker, it won't use a hot cue. You can also make the load marker a non hot cue by using your hot cues 1-8 first, then drop another cue where you want to load and making it a load cue, but not a hot cue. You can change in preferences to have the sample buttons act as cues 5-8 instead of sample start mute etc. buttons when on deck A/B layer. |
Rebeca Brogdon 16.11.2011 | After reading the manual, I found out some more info on the behavior of hotcues. Still, when I load a track with 4 saved hotcues such as Hotcue 1 - Load Hotcue 2 - cue (intro) Hotcue 3 - Grid Hotcue 4 cue (verse) After posting this, I find that Load and Grid cues are considered empty and shown as dim. Is it best to save your grid and load cues on 7 and 8, I would believe? Thanks. |
Charline Dye 16.11.2011 | Need more info. Are the hot cues 123&4? If you press the corresponding cue what does it do? The color of the cue will only change if it is a loop. It will go from dim or off when no song is loaded to lit up blue when the track loads if there is a cue. So does it? |
