Issues with effects buttons
Issues with effects buttons Posted on: 03.11.2011 by Garth Samatar Bought an s4 off of ebay a couple months back. Hadn't dj'ed before that, so I just recently started really digging into the effects. Now that I've been trying to use them I noticed some of the buttons aren't working. Some of the buttons that aren't working are the left deck load button, and left deck effects buttons 1, 2, and three only work if you push reallllly hard. The effect menu button on the right deck also doesn't work at all. Has anyone else run into this problem? I've contacted NI support about a dozen times at this point, and the answers I get are getting so ridiculous. At one point I got a response from them saying that they would take care of the problem and would provide me with a shipping label so they could repair it, but they needed some info first (serial #, current address, etc). Once I sent it to them, they sent me back an email saying I should update to traktor 2.1.1, re-calibrate all the knobs, faders, and jogwheels, etc. Things I've tried several times, and even told them I tried. Now I'm worried they're not actually going to take it back for repair. Any ideas? | |

Kristofer Krauel 03.11.2011 | They will definitely take it back. They are just meticulous in their processes so send them the info they need, do as they say and reply with the outcome. They just need to be sure that they have eliminated everything before they take it back. |
