Timecode Problem With Scratch Upgrade
Posted on: 30.11.2011 by Alease Naor
Hey all, first post. I just got the S4 scratch upgrade today and I'm having a problem when I try to calibrate the timecode vinyl. All software and drivers are up to date and as far as I know the hardware/software is configured right BUT the the orange calibration progress bar doesn't move at all. It registers the timecode and when I click "calibrate" it does nothing. any thoughts? Thanks!

Also, it's the MK 2 Timecode Records

Thanks for the help. I figured it out!

Turns out it was the m447 cartridges I'm using...I had to switch the leads around (blue to white/ red to green)

I believe it's a weird phase issue that causes traktor to screw up, but she works fine now!

have you connected the ground cables from the turntables to the ground terminal screw in the back of the S4?

http://www.traktorbible.com/video/se...-timecode.aspx

Here is a complete video for the proper setup. Look at 2:00 for the explanation with the ground terminal

Hope this will help you!

EDIT: NI HP says: "Installation of service update TRAKTOR 2.1.1 or higher is required" (for MK2 Timecode)
I know you said your software is up to date but give it a short check to avoid loosing your nerves
