Neva Sparacino 01.12.2011 | Thans VanGogo Great help you gave me <3 jajajaja |
Charline Dye 01.12.2011 | That interface will work for mic and instrument inputs. As far as the difference between it and separate interfaces you'll just have to compare specs. It would also depend on your budget, future plans for producing, etc. if you are just starting out, I would keep the costs low till you figure out how much you will actually use it. |
Neva Sparacino 01.12.2011 | Thanks kooper i love your attitude Just another question about the same things maybe you can answer me An M-Audio Ozone 25 will do the job of an audio interface and a MIDI Keyboard like: http://www.soundware.co.uk/imgPool/M...&crop=true.jpg I can use that like an interface and record voices instruments etc Its a good choice? or i buy the MIDI keyboard and an Audio interface? To use with ableton and in some sets with the s4. |
Kristofer Krauel 01.12.2011 | You are more than welcome mate. Glad to help. That's was this place is all about right? :-) |
Neva Sparacino 01.12.2011 | Thanks you both so much last evening
I do the native instrument tweks and i believe the dropouts are gone but im going to make the other tweks anyway thanks to kooper And for you Bangogo your last question answer another big question i have About the m audio MIDI chek it out http://www.soundware.co.uk/imgPool/M...&crop=true.jpg I can use that like an interface and record voices instruments etc or its better to buy a interface appart? |
Charline Dye 01.12.2011 | +1 for the info Kooper gave. There is also a thread on it at the Native Instrument community
s. You may also want to consider making your computer a dual boot system, and smiTTTen has also written 2 blog articles at DJTT on how to do it. You could use your S4 sound card in production for listening, not sure if the mic input would still work though. I haven't looked up specs on the M-Audio, but it really depends on your needs. If you need a mic for vocals, instrument input for guitars, etc. then you need a sound card to handle those things. If all you need is to hear it then the S4 card will work by having the s4 on, not traktor, and selecting it as the audio in Ableton. Then you can look at all the midi keyboards and see which one suites your needs. |
Kristofer Krauel 01.12.2011 | Yeah the thread by smittten on optimising is something you should take a look at. Also take a look at this site http://www.focusrite.com/answerbase/...le.php?id=1071 Do the tweaks suggested and then take a look at the threads in this community . I believe it's a sticky so somewhere near the top of the page. |
Neva Sparacino 01.12.2011 | Ok thanks My PC: Intel Core Duo 2 CU T8100 2 Ghz 2.10 Ram 3.00GB Windows 7 Home Premmium 32 bits The other MIDI controllorer is for production I need to buy a MIDI controller to use with ableton anyway so a MIDI controller with an audio interface its what i need like an M-audio Ozone 25 or so right? By tweks on windows for traktor you mean the DJTT Guide for optimize windows? |
Charline Dye 30.11.2011 | What computer and operating system are you using? Have you turned off wifi, bluetooth, etc? If using a pc have you gone through the steps to tweak it for using it with traktor? You shouldn't need another sound card, and without knowing what you will be using another midi controller for how can anyone give advice?? You really need to give more info if you want some help. |
Neva Sparacino 30.11.2011 | If im going to buy a midi controller too i could get the m-audio ozone 25 and that will fit perfecly for my need right? |
