Connecting Kontrol S4 to Yamaha HS 80 M Posted on: 30.11.2011 by Mao Zaczyk I have purchased a new S4 and one yamaha HS 80 M for monitoring at home. To my surprise the input on the HS 80 M is either a MONO or a XLR and the S4 has stereo output with left and right. Will an 2 RCA to MONO cable connector help me? Also, would this affect my sound quality? Any advice will be much appreciated except for exhanging the HS 80 M for another one just because it has a different female port. | |

Alisha Beamesderfer 01.12.2011 | you have a mono-what? RCA input? Also, that XLR input is also a mono input. If it's one speaker, you can't magically get stereo output, so there's no need for a stereo input. Don't quote me on it, but I don't believe you can use a mono --> RCA splitter to work. However, you can just switch traktor's output to MONO, and just plug in either the right or left channel to your speaker. |
