S4 Phono Jack issues
S4 Phono Jack issues Posted on: 04.12.2011 by Gavin Apgood Bought an S4 of DJTT, just a couple weeks ago I noticed a couple issues with my phono jack. It is not an issue with my earphones or my 1/4 to 1/8 jack. It seems that it is the input problem. Not sure what to do - thanks. | |

Sherrell Wolan 05.12.2011 | I unscrewed it by just using my fingers it might be a little hard at first but its pretty easy. |
Gavin Apgood 05.12.2011 | Dumb question, how do you unscrew the "slim nut"...? Thanks. |
Ross Mobly 05.12.2011 | After further investigation, it seems its the channel4 who is not working properly. Had a look at NI community , some threads re this issue exist but no one gives an answer. Should i give the unit back to the shop? |
Ross Mobly 05.12.2011 | I bought an s4 3 days ago and I have exactly the same problem. I tried the screw/unscrew technic but with no success. But couldn't find where to set the balance for the jack/channel3&4 line... anyone can help me? cheers |

Gavin Apgood 05.12.2011 | Its not a software problem, I'll try the nut solution for now. |
Leeanna Ayla 05.12.2011 | Check that the balance didn't get turned in the software. That has me going for at least a full day once. The nut in the headphone jack may very well be the culprit though. |
Gavin Apgood 05.12.2011 | Upon inserting the phono jack, I can only hear sound from my right and not my left. If I tweak it a little bit I can hear both without the bass and if I pull it out a little bit I can hear sound from my left and not my right. |
Leeanna Ayla 04.12.2011 | What exactly is the issue? |
Nicolle Diller 04.12.2011 | unscrew the slim nut on the headphone jack, thats usually the culprit! |
