At this point now, I dont have any of previous playlists in the playlist tree on the left. I had a bunch sorted there in the previous version. Is there any way to get those back after the update?

No disrespect, but i started the upgrade early this morning. A full day should be plenty of time to do this. I have 27 more gigs this month (not a typo), and my software shouldnt need "days off". Its an upgrade, and when ive had issues with earlier versions, any potential fixes can be useful. Its the surprises that one needs to be careful of. This was a surprise.

ps....i keep multiple back up systems. Scratch, vdj, itch. Thanks everyone for the help.

Any feedback on how to reload those playlists would be helpful.

This, you may need to drag the favorites back to where they were, but everything else should be there.

So here is why my mis-interpretation happened. I was looking to load a file somehow. This is not really the case. As I had opened and closed the new updated Traktor a couple of times, each time a new save log was created. As a result I had about 5 new .nml files. I ended up removing all of those save logs and copied the most recent from the previous older version "backup" folder to the new 2.1.2 backup-collection folder. Now it seems to be loading all my previous collection data. Ill see how it went once it is all finished loading....looks like it may take a bit.

THANK YOU ALL FOR THE PROMPT RESPONSES. You saved my arse for toevening s gig!

How do I open it. I was able to load previous settings, but how do I load the previous library/collection info??

There should be a folder titled whatever your previous version of traktor was.
