weird bug with s4 and latest tractor
Posted on: 04.12.2011 by Christie Rinder
Hey, last evening i was at my gig early in the evening using the S4, and the latest traktor update. i was about 10 songs in and when i tried to load a new song into the left deck it wouldn't load and from that point on it wouldn't allow me to load any other tracks. the left deck was completely frozen. I even tried to enable deck c + d and use those but this wouldn't even work. The right deck never stopped playing but i had to restart tractor for both decks to work again properly. Anyone have this issue?

Ive had this happen twice....at gigs!! It was the calibration on the platter. As soon as I did the re-callibration....which will stop music and make a bugged out noise......everything ran great.....until the next time...lol. I recommend calibrating somewhat regularly to avoind the hassle and imbarassment.

This has happens to me, thankfully not during a gig.
Only advice I can give is make sure your processes are as streamlined as possible.
I have only experienced this during home session where I have itunes and other windows ect open, so I can only imagin it some issue with read and writing (as this problem seems to happen during a next track load??????).

So I would just say keep it clean, out just blame it on that hoe who pulled out a cord wink wink !!!
