pitch fader strange behavior (or, i dont know how the software works) Posted on: 20.12.2011 by Rosalie Novarro So lets say im running sync, and the next track i bring in has been synced, but the pitch fader is physically not corresponding to where it "should" be as shown in software. the light i understand indicates to me whether i should move it up or down to get to that spot. however, once i move it, the software immediately jumps it to wherever it physically is.... i would expect/like for it to do NOTHING until i CAPTURE that spot that corresponds with the screen, and then behave normally. does this make sense? am i doing something wrong or is the software just lame in this aspect? | |

Rosalie Novarro 22.12.2011 | thanks ill try the shift thing... just seems like it should be normal behavior instead of a shift behavior.... dumb. |
Nedra Fresneda 21.12.2011 | If it behaves that way it's set to absolute, you will see the lights above de pitch fader light up to indicate there is a software/hardware difference. Do what mwn11 said until the other light turns on, then they are at a tiny distance. |
Arla Seniw 22.12.2011 | Hold shift and move it to where it should be first |
Kristofer Krauel 21.12.2011 | In the S4 preferences menu have you got the tempo faders set to absolute or relative? try switching it and see if that changes anything. |
