Using a Foot Switch to trigger "Record" on the S4 Posted on: 22.12.2011 by Dede Walburg Just curious, if I want to use a foot switch to trigger the loop record function on the S4 is there a certain kind of foot switch that is needed? Or will any phono style 1/4 inch foot pedal work? I am new this idea.I work in a tattoo shop so we have foot pedals all over. But I am not sure if they are the same as what's needed. Any help/suggestions appreciated. Happy Holidays, DjCh3 Ps...How do you turn on Traktors Internal Record mode for recording sets etc . . . or is it better to daisy chain to my second laptop with Ableton to record? | |

Charline Dye 22.12.2011 | That little button eludes quite a few. |
Dede Walburg 22.12.2011 | Thanks for the response. I'll try the foot pedal here and see. If not I'll look into the one you've suggested. As for the record . . . I found it right after asking the question. I guess the advice my mother gave me for years about opening my eyes really does help. LOL Ch3 |
Charline Dye 22.12.2011 | Try it and see. I use the boss FS-5U it's only about $40, or $30 with a GC coupon. The record function is on the right of your screen by the Fx unit. Click the cassette icon |
Josefina Schutten 22.12.2011 | I've tried to use the sustain pedal of my keyboard but it doesn't work.... :/ |
