How to switch Filter Knob with Gain Knob.
Posted on: 27.12.2011 by Lacey Volkert
I barely use filter knob and I do not like the way Gain knob feels (clicking sound) so I thought of switching filter knob with gain knob. I am assuming that the clicking noise is due to different potentiometer(endless rotary) used on Gain knob. I know that it will be unusual to have gain below HI MID and LOW but I would rather have that than the clicking feel on gain.
How can I map the filter knob so it behaves like regular gain on a mixer. It doesnt need to have full kill when I turn it all way to the left.

Thanks

ok. head over to traktorbible. they have a "disable gain" mapping then you can map the filters to the gain knobs.. dont know about having gain on the filter though..
