Adding Sample Control to DJTT S2?

So, i'm trying to do the following and was curious if anyone has attempted this with success...

- Use FX 3 and 4 for the jogs (activated by shift+reset)
- Map the FX knobs to Sample Deck Volume
- When FX button depressed, knobs become Sample Deck Filter

Something like this would really bring the sample decks to life since we could mix in and out of 8 samples. Additionally, would be great to have a cue somewhere as well...

Any ideas?

I moved the mapping to FX3 but I can't map any function otherwise. Nothing is responding :/

wow. i have to say, programming tractor controller sucks. yeah, i know. venting a bit. really shouldn't be this difficult to assign control. nothing appears to act consistently for me. last evening , i could learn midi - today, no. i can't learn midi with no other mapping loaded except the generic midi mapping. still doesn't work. anyways, as been mentioned before - NI really needs to step up their UI for mapping controls. it sucks.
