s4 power issues on mac - URGENT HELP NEEDED Posted on: 31.12.2011 by Ruth Peelman Hey guys,I played a gig on the 27th and i am suppose to be playing again this evening but i took my s4 out to have a practice before hand and now it appears that it doesn't seem to be receiving any mains power and when i try to run it off purely the usb the mac displays an error message that says a usb device is trying to use to much power from the mac and it has been disabled. Does anyone know how i fix this because at the moment i am pretty much screwed!!!! | |

Ruth Peelman 05.01.2012 | Hey i should have maybe explained it better but no explanation would have helped. Turns out the usb port is screw according to NI! I just had to play on cdjs instead. Thanks anyway for the response mate, much appreciated. Happy new year!!! |
Lisa Lochotzki 31.12.2011 | you never plugged the wall adapter? if so it shouldn't sink ANY power from the USB. check your cable, try it on another computer. without USB plugged in, you should have some light show when you turn on the s4... case not, grab another wall adapter |
