Hi guys, dont know if this been up... But i spoke to a dealer today about the S4, and he said that NI has done some improvents on the S4, hopefully this is not a salestrick and true. Cant wait to order this week

One more thing, ayone seen Sebastian Ingrosso at Sensation Portugal? Where he does the Destination Unknown intro? Can we do that on the S4, if so, how?!

I have an X1 that i have mapped for that along with bass kills and control of effect decks 3 + 4 among other things

It's hard to believe they are making hardware changes when the unit has been in the market for a bit longer than 1 year. Might be a mapping/firmware update.

Oops also forgot to mention the reverb and delay!

I just recreated this on my S4 but with a little prep.

First you play the notes as a sample then you play the melody as a loop along with the claps, then you loop the last note, stop the claps, and slowly ride the pitch fader while HP filtering the loop. On the other deck play a sweep as a one shot then cue up the track and just let it drop. Pretty simple I'd say!

Enjoy!

can be done easily on a s4:

first notes as samples you can trigger, some bassline on one deck you filter, then play the melody, beatmash one note, apply delay and reverb, pitch the key, apply more effects to get it nasty, meanwhile cue up the drop, some delay freeze action and drop it like it's hot..

Traktor released some new drivers pretty soon after the S4 was released. Maybe that's what he's talking about.
