Westone UM2 Foam Tip replacements
Westone UM2 Foam Tip replacements Posted on: 12.03.2012 by Nestor Witkowsky Hey gangI wore my pair of foam tips into oblivion. I've gotten some Comfy Foam Tip replacements, but they are just the foam bit -- it seems that the pole thing on the inside is not in there. Am I missing something, or am I suppose to completely remove the foam from the old pair and use the old innper part w/ the new foam tips? Or did I just get the wrong product? Thanks | |

Nestor Witkowsky 13.02.2013 | I actually found some tips at the San Jose airport. |
Sophia Piecyk 12.02.2013 | You can buy the replacement tip pack from Westone for $25 plus shipping, which is basically a copy of the set the UM2 came with. http://www.westone.com/store/index.p...s/fit-kit.html Alternatively, if you are interested in just the comply foam tips, you can buy three packs directly from these guys: http://www.complyfoam.com/um2/ Shure Olive and black tips will also fit the UM2. If you want some more information about specific tips, I found a good thread on the head-fi audiophile community s here: http://www.head-fi.org/t/590435/i-am...ply-shure-tips The UM2 comes stock with Medium T-100s, Small P-Series and Medium P-Series. Hope this helps. I too recently wore down my UM2 comply tips and have been doing some research! edit- just realized this post was super old. Sorry! UM2s are still popular and the question was unanswered so hopefully this ends up helping someone! |
Nestor Witkowsky 14.03.2012 | These guys? http://www.amazon.com/Shure-PA755-Tr.../dp/B0002INL4M You use them on your UM2's? Might give them a shot. |
Spencer Kilcoyne 14.03.2012 | I'll have a rummage in my spare tips bag (I've got dozens of the buggers) and see if I've got any foamies. I only ever use the triple flange rubber ones as they seal into my ears nicely ... |
Nestor Witkowsky 13.03.2012 | Beuller? Beuller? Someone's gotta know.... |
