Removing Knobs from S2

Removing Knobs from S2
Posted on: 22.12.2011 by Mireya Daunt
I'm not sure if this has already been discussed but I searched google and youtube for solutions and haven't been able to find any. I am trying to remove the knobs from my S2 to replace them with the Chromas but they won't come off. The faders popped off easily enough but I feel if I pull the knobs straight up any harder they'll break.

Anyone have any experience with this?

Im on the same boat...I even tried the screwdriver, and I still felt like I was going to rip the knob right off.

So as of right now im leaving the knobs as is.

anyone fine a solution to change the knobs on the S2. Do not want to buy knobs if they can't come off.

assuming it's the same procedure as the S4. take a screwdriver, place a sheet of paper between the knob and faceplate to prevent scratches and lift up the knob gently..
