Just wondering if anyone uses the s4 with scratch pro and mixed set up, e.g one turntable & one cdj?

I'm messing around and trying to get the best balance of cost & flexibility......

Well First of all you have the limitation of only using 2 turntables or cdj i recommend just using the 1210 because the jogweels on the s4 will give you the cdj taste!!!!! I use a setup like you i use my turntables (crappy numarks) or i have my cdj 1000 mk2 and i also use one midifighter classic!! to be honest i had some problems with the midifighter and the S4 so am not using it on gigs. My other setup consist of the S4 routing all 4 channels to ableton and i use my apc40 and ipad with the Ifighter mapping!!! For me the S4 is the key because it gives me almost full control over the software the only change i will make is buying the new F1 with the upgrade in Aprils!!!!!!!! Enjoy your setup!!!

I've got the upgrade just wondering if its worth buying a cdj to supplement 1210's tomaximise the set up with cd & usb in addition to vinyl.

If I went this way it I would have s4, 2x midifighters 1 1210 & 1 cdj on the table. Anyone else done this or has everyone used tt's or cdj's only and never mixed them up?

I've got lots of cd's and some vinyl. my 'normal' alternative is setting up with 1210's

You will just need to buy the "Scratch Upgrade Kit" and plug your turntables or cdj in!!!! Really easy!!!!
