Choosing the right cables for your sound output for the S2? Posted on: 24.01.2012 by Alex Kueffner Sorry if this has been posted,I noticed in Ean's vid he uses 1/4" inch cables for his main outs, just wonder if they are custom made and I also noticed they both were different. What i'd like to know is what is the difference between using the standard RCA on the outputs instead of using the balanced TRS outs?. Secondly what TRS cables work best with the S2. Thanks in advance, V. | |

Frederic Acidera 24.01.2012 | Have you read this? http://www.djranking s.com/2010/05/2...dj-essentials/ And also this>>> http://www.djranking s.com/2010/04/04/cable-pizza/ ... |
Chandra Lean 24.01.2012 | balanced TRS outs, help against any possibility of signal drop/signal loss across long lengths. if they are for your personal monitors, then RCA's will be fine. (it also has to do with impedance n such... which is irrelevant for a bedroom dj /personal use situation) |
Jarod Perrodin 24.01.2012 | I recently got some proper monitors but I dont have any TRS cables for them. I believe for short distances RCA cable's are fine, thats what I've read anyway, you wont hear the difference. I believe TRS is balanced and more suitable for longer cable runs? Im sure someone will clarify this, or say Im totally wrong I probably haven't helped at all If your looking for monitors I got prodipe pro 8's they are fantastic! |
