S4/S2, 4 deck control with x1 etc?
Posted on: 28.01.2012 by Glinda Stagner
Last summer i was looking into branching into controllerism, and straight away was hooked on the s4... i was set on buying one, but due to financial issues, i didnt!

Anywho,

i recently, started looking back into what controllers are out there, and obviously discovered the s2. Its everything that i wanted from the s4, and has none of the things that put me off the s4. ie, portability!

My question is, what do you guys believe? .. Is the s2 just as good as an option as the s4?

How well would a s2 work with say an x1 to control fx on decks c and d, a midi fighter for cue points, and say the new kontrol x2 for launching sample style clips?

as this would give me much more flexibility in what i could use/take with me to a gig, or leave at home in the studio

cheers in advance!
