Couple of recent traktor issues. Posted on: 28.01.2012 by Aracely Mcalvey I didn't have a single problem with Traktor S4, that came w/ the Kontrol S4. Everything spun like a top.Once I upgraded to Traktor 2, the following issues have presented themselves: 1) There are some beats which I simply CANNOT get to grid. I've gone by Ean's tutorial, and it still drifts ALL over the place. I've gotta be overlooking something, or doing something wrong. Even though I'm not doing anything different than when I was using S4. 2) Sometimes, when I begin to play on a certain cue point, for whatever reason, it begins about a half beat late (sometimes almost a full beat, it seems like). Obviously, this is annoying for my mix, and even moreso when I'm playing live. Is it possible that I have something turned on that I'm unaware of? More or less positive it's not an issue with my computer (15" Macbook Pro with i7 and 4 gigs). | |

| Charline Dye 29.01.2012 | If you have Ableton you can warp the tracks that have uneven tempo so they will be gridable. |

| Charline Dye 28.01.2012 | Some songs do not have a even tempo and either cannot be gridded perfectly, or need another grid marker. See thetraktorbible.com, there is a good article on this. Sync or quantize will cause the cue to start early or late because you are not hitting it exactly in time with what ever is the master for the tempo. |
