s4 not being recognized by Traktor 2 Posted on: 07.02.2012 by Jami Nejad Hey all,I lent my S4 to a buddy while I was traveling and haven't been able to get it to work ever since. There are a few interesting issues: -None of the buttons work, but I can still play sound through the machine (clicking play in traktor with mouse) -I use a mac, the s4 still works on my friends Windows machine. - I have restarted the computer -I have updated to NI's latest s4 driver. -I have tried both the "restore" button and setup wizard. What now?? | |

| Jarod Perrodin 07.02.2012 | It should be in the ni service centre app, I believe you can get it from there. It normally installs when you install traktor, it should be in you applications folder, Controller Editor |

| Jarod Perrodin 07.02.2012 | You could try swapping to a different usb port & lead? Does the s4 have the same midi mode as the s2? Maybe its going straight into midi mode, both shifts do it on the s2. Good luck mate |
