Timecode trouble with traktor pro help please :(
Posted on: 08.02.2012 by Valda Uhl
Hey ya'll,

Basically my current set up is a pair of stanton cmp 800 cdj's linked to traktor pro. Traktor has been fantastic apart from one main issue using the timecoding feature. Say one song is playing at 128 bpm, I cant match another song exactly to that. Often the closest ill be able to get it to is 128.07 or 127.93 and that will go out and start to sound untidy pretty quickly. I'm able to nudge the track back in time but it gets a bit difficult if im mixing two songs for a couple of minutes.

I am aware u can use the sync button and this issue goes away but i enjoy beatmatching just pressing sync doesnt do it for me.

Any help or advice anyone could offer me would be much appreciated,

Cheers greener
