S2 mapping - "default" vs "user" mappings
Posted on: 15.02.2012 by Wayne Washko
hi everyone, just got my S2 and am working out some bugs.

my main question is what's the difference between the default and user mappings? i've got the default selected in the drop down menu of the preferences but when i go to import a different mapping in my Settings folder, where all .tsi's are, it isn't showing up. i've got a dj dummy mapping, a S2 user mapping, some s4 and kore mappings, etc. if i go and import a different mapping, how will i locate the default mapping again?

if i want to create my own mapping, do i open tpro as usual with the s2 connected, then press shift + shift then go to preferences and start adding functions? after everything is mapped, i would just export it to save it?

the driver issues are really annoying but i'll just keep uninstalling and re-installing the driver until it works properly. on a vista (32 bit) PC, it controls Traktor but doesn't show up as a device plugged in on my task bar at the bottom of Windows. controller editor is up to date and i know Tpro is at its most current version - I just got my S2 on Monday. no weird usb port settings, not sure what else to check.
