Setting beatgrid markers in Tracktor/S2

Hi guys,

I just picked up the Novation Twitch and really liked the beatgrid adjustment controls on it. Though I still find using the touchstrip for cueing rather cumbersome. So I got a couple questions:

  1. Would it be possible to map the jog wheel's scratch mode on the Kontrol S2 to expand/contract the beatgrid in Traktor?
  2. Since Traktor doesn't have elastic beatgrids, what do the additional beatgrid markers do?

1. Sure - The MIDI command would be "expand/contract beatgrid" or something along those lines. The MIDI control would be an "encoder."

2. Some songs aren't consistent all the way through - for example, they go from 120 down to 90, then back up to 120. Sometimes, it won't line up when the tempo increases - a second beat marker can reset it for you so the beats are once again lined up.
