Whats goin on.... I just have a few questions.

Just got my S2 in,

- I have restored my current computer to its old self, i didnt have much on it. I dont do games or anything, just normal guy stuff. I was wondering if this was "acceptable" to do this way until I can save enough money to buy another computer.

- The Processor I have is Intel(R) Core(TM) i3, 2.4GHz, is this an acceptable processor for the Pro 2 software?

- If i can use this computer, how hard is it to upload the software on a new computer and quickly get the ball rolling?

You shouldn't be watching pr0n on your DJ laptop! lol. Keep it clean, and like the poster above said, set up a separate partition at the very least. DJ software isn't too resource intensive - your computer will be fine. I've run Traktor 2 on a 1.63ghz core 2 duo without any issues.

25.02.2012		diesel, sam, you both should have no probs. i'm on an i3 2.27Ghz, 4GB ram, win 7 64-bit and I can even switch to firefox and browse the net while mixing 2 tracks!

set up a partition (especially if you're gunna browse "guy" websites lol) purely for djing, follow the windows optimization tips on the NI website and make sure traktor is up to date

25.02.2012		Would I be able to run an S2 and Traktor Pro 2 on a 2.3Ghz Pentium Processor and 4GB RAM?

24.02.2012		You should set up a 2nd partition for music software. It's very easy - just google it.

Intel(R) Core(TM) i3, 2.4GHz should be fine if you have plenty of RAM.
