Loop feature doesn't function the way it should Posted on: 29.02.2012 by Julian Ispas the right knob controls the loop size (...2,4,8,16...), lets say you set it at 32 beats *but the loop isn't engaged*.but you go to do a manual loop of 4 beats, now you want to cut that loop to 2 beats. on the S2 the only way to do it to turn that knob. but it's current location is at 32 beats. there fore i would have to turn the knob "four" times to get to 2 beats. and its worse if your loop knob is set at 1/32 and your first right turn is 1/16....now that can crash a mix do you guys find that annoying? I'm looking into remapping the IN/OUT buttons to do the exact same function as on the cdj 2000. its more intuitive. but no look so far | |

Julian Ispas 29.02.2012 | UPDATE. i am able to map the in/out buttons to do exactly with what's on the cdj. HOWEVER, the problem still stays the same. where the loop initially position (lets say at 8) and it will not switch automatically if a smaller loop is active. how the hell do you have it move automatically when you do your manual looping? |
Nancey Inderlied 29.02.2012 | It's annoying, but easily fixed by pressing one less button and using the auto loop instead. |
