why cant i Get my s2 into MIDI mode?

Hey guys, everywhere ive read has said in order to get your S2 into MIDI mode you must hit both shift buttons together. I have tried this multiple times and nothing happens. Am i doing something wrong? Also, how do I even know that its IN MIDI mode?

Thanks

Are you tryin to use the DJTT mapping? If so I had the same problem last week when I got mine. To use the jog wheel effects you have to use shift+reset (above tempo fader) this will enable to jogwheels for effects.

Yes it wil. Btw, fun story, don't try to disable jog effect mode (djtt mapping) on two decks simultainiously at a gig (never used it again)

In traktors preferences choose Traktor Kontroller S2, then in there select Enable MIDI Mode via Shift + Shift.

When thats done, both shifts put it in midi mode, the shift buttons will glow so you know its in midi mode
