S2 and "ad-hoc" beat recording

We all know that TP allows you to record live beats and playback the loop in the recorder, but the S2 has no way to leverage this.

Has there been any changes to allow this to happen. One of the few frustrating things about the S2 is the great difficulty to do loop recording "ad-hoc".

If you have another controller for sample decks, map the sample deck slot in the s2 to control the recorder!

You need to map the loop recorder. If you wanted that "out of the box" your only choice was the S4.

you can store loops from the track decks in the sample decks. works pretty well
