RCA output in Kontrol s4

RCA output in Kontrol s4
Posted on: 09.12.2010 by Rosario Byro
Hi Guys,

I just tried connecting RCA output cables to my stereo but no sound came out. However I can confirm 1/4 balanced ones are working fine.

Did I miss something here?

Can you guys help me with this?

Thanks

Both Output pairs are live so there should be sound from both all the time.

second is your filter and eq all zeroed out.
third, check your crossfader,
then check your upfaders,
then check your main gain,
then check your output routing to makesure it did not get screwed up
if none of these fix it then i have no idea what is wrong.

Do what Robotears said, but if I remember right the manual actually is very helpful for this! I had the same problem with mine initially, then I went through the manual step by step and notice I just messed up and forgot some dumb like knob somewhere that I had to adjust or something.

Basically if his checklist doesn't work, try the manual .

check that your cue mix knob on the controller is all the way to the right.
