(QUE) Question in TRAKTOR

When QUE ing a track using TRAKTOR some times on some tracks i can not tell TRAKTOR were to CUE


its like it decides for me what it wants to do and were it wants to do it

is there a setting i can turn off that will take theys fairy wheels off ?

ARe you sure? Its the big "S" on the software screen right underneath the main volume knob which is located on the very top and center. It should have a "Q" next to it.

Untitled.jpgthis tool or button works for me quicker than setting the actual grid as all i want to do is move the CUE marker (circled in orange on the pic)

thats it .. i believe iv heard the term "CUE marker"

i can not cue inside that fraction of music it takes me to the beginning of the fraction .

yes it seems like the track is split up into many individual QUE points (like fractions that u can not CUE inside) it takes u to the start of the fraction ... i really hope some one can tell me how to get around this as some songs need to be CUE'd @ points it wont allow me.

with anything on traktor man youtube is an absolute god send.... when I started out it helped me so much

look into the file management tab of traktors preferences..

i believe we or on the rite track here now.. default out the box needs to be set on some tracks ? not pre determined by traktor ?

you can delete and store cue points where ever you want inside a track (up to 8) and jump between them..

do a google search beatgridding in traktor as well..

or do you mean previewing a track in the headphones before loading it into a deck?
