How do you record with Traktor pro and Kontrol S2 Posted on: 05.05.2012 by Kendall Friloux I am kind of new to this whole thing but how do i record. I have my Traktor Pro, Kontrol S2, and some monitor speakers hooked up. I also own the Audio 6 but it is not hooked up at the moment. Do I need to use that? Does anyone have kind of an easy step by step guide? | |

Charline Dye 11.05.2012 | On the upper right in Traktor where the FX unit is there is a cassette symbol. Click it. |

Lorette Canelas 10.05.2012 | No I dont do that where the the record volume and record level meters be located? |
Charline Dye 10.05.2012 | What is the record volume set to? Do you check the record level meters before recording? |
Lorette Canelas 10.05.2012 | I have both traktor pro and traktor s2 that I just bought from djranking s store. I know where the record button is and every time I try and record something I start recording then go listen to it once Im done and there is no sound. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance |
Jaleesa Zheng 07.05.2012 | lol Dude read the manual. |
Nedra Fresneda 06.05.2012 | For any setup questions refer to this guide: http://community .djranking s.com/showthread.php?t=44623 |
Reginia Tramble 06.05.2012 | Thanks! |
Nedra Fresneda 06.05.2012 | Yup, external mode is intended if you use an external mixer or are processing the sound outside of traktor |
Reginia Tramble 06.05.2012 | So does the setting change to internal record the music? I've tried recording a couple of times on my S4 but there was no audio for 30 minutes. |
Rocco Fiveash 07.05.2012 | This is basic stuff, and it is in the manual, no? |
Kendall Friloux 06.05.2012 | The internal recorder is not poping up like it did on the picture you posted. |
Kendall Friloux 05.05.2012 | so i tried hitting that button and nothing popped up. When i go to extended view. There is a recorder that only records 4 beats at the top of the mixer. How do i record the whole set. It looks like this is to record samples. I am missing something please help |
Nedra Fresneda 05.05.2012 | Before you start recording, open the preferences window and under the recording category check it's set to internal. You can adjust the maximum size of the size before being split in there as well. |
Somer Vanstraten 05.05.2012 | Yep, and when you want to stop, you press the Rec button again (while recording is red). While recording you can switch between recording tab and fx tab with no prob. |
Kendall Friloux 05.05.2012 | ok i see what you are getting it. I dont have my other computer with me right now so i couldnt try it out. So you just press that button and then the recording panel will show up. Then you hit record correct. |
Somer Vanstraten 05.05.2012 | No, under The fx2 tab ImageUploadedByTapatalk1336233030.685379.jpg |
Kendall Friloux 05.05.2012 | ok ill give it a try thanks |
