Garfield Scheurich 28.05.2012 | Buy a used Macbook Pro. The 13'3 goes from about $700-$1,000 on craigslist. I refused to pay $1,200 + tax for a brand new one, so I hunted down a clean 2011 model on craigslist for only $850! Good luck on your search. |
Arlinda Finazzo 28.05.2012 | I'm running the latest MacBook Air (w/ 4GB RAM & 256GB SSD). Love it 100%. Personally love 13" laptops, no need for larger... they're supposed to be portable after all. And the resolution of screen on the 13" MB Air is better then the 13" MB Pro. Works great for Traktor, Reason & Ableton. Use it for music and my daily surfing/writing/etc. EDIT: Also paying the premium for SSD (as used by the Macbook Air vs the Macbook Pro) is worth every penny. Won't go back, boot and response time is amazing. My gaming PC I'm about to build will use SSD. |
Jolynn Schroyer 28.05.2012 | I bought my MBP in december, right out of box it ran traktor. Couldn't be more happier. I also wanted a laptop that i would not use for gaming and music. So strictly only use the MBP for music, not gaming. |
Erica Charvet 28.05.2012 | I've used four machines that run Traktor impeccably... Macbook Pro (the answer you will get from 4/5 people here) Dell Precision M6400 Lenovo T61 Asus G73 The Precision was my favorite by far. Kind of regret selling it. It really depends on your needs in a laptop, though. |
