Using the S2 with pro 2.0.3

Using the S2 with pro 2.0.3

Hi guys

I am about to sell my 1210's and go digital - and am wanting to buy an S2.

I am playing with some demos of the software to check out how it will work out.

I will be running it on a netbook, which is (just) underspec. 2.5 is too glitchy to work properly, everything from 2.1 upwards is too glitchy.

I can run 2.0.3 demo pretty well, with the CPU load never going over half way... but the software is older than the S2, so doesnt have a preset mapping for the S2.

How can I import the mappings for the S2 into the 2.0.3 version of traktor pro? I have tried to import the Ean Golding jog effects mapping, but not much happens, It just tries to apply it to the keyboard mapping.
Will using a preset work, or will I need to set up a complete new midi custom mapping for the two to be compatible? If so, how easy is this and will it actually work well?

Thanks!!!
