Traktor & Xone DB4 Recording issues
Posted on: 14.07.2012 by Leilani Tetreau
Hi

I'm having issues recording my mix using Trakor through my Xone DB4. Everything seems to be fine with the set up but I'm getting a bit of distortion during playback of any mix I record.
This is the first time I have tried to do this and will admit to not being very tech savvy or that I know much about Traktor as its not something I've ever used but I need to record a mix and from what I've read Traktor seems to be the only way to do it.
My computer isn't the greatest either and I've a sneaking suspicion my poor quality soundcard might have something to do with it (SB X-Fi Xtreme Audio).
I've got the two of them connected via a good quality USB cable, I'm not sure if that might be the issue. I apologise for my ignorance of computer set ups and traktor but this is uncharted territory for me. If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd greatly appreciate it.
If anyone can even suggest another way of recording the mix this would help too. I'm not too bothered about learning the intricacies of Traktor.
