Pre-Use question. Midi Figther 3D + Traktor S4 + TS4 Kontrol Posted on: 20.11.2012 by Libbie Orion Ok so the sugject basically has all the components in it.Toevening i purchased some goodies for myself. Traktor Kontrol Hooking up with Traktor S4 Pro and adding in...... Midi Fighter 3D got some Croma caps to touch things up a bit too. Ok so im wondering I notice that the Kontrol (midi controller) has a SINGLE usb port in the back and the Midi Fighter 3D has a single connection USB as well. Lets say for some reason, i run into the position where i only have (ONE) available USB port on my laptop. Does anyone see or has anyone HAD a problem using this through a powered USB Hub? | |

Libbie Orion 21.11.2012 | Thanks Jess Im sure everything will work out fine. I already have been mentally planning out custom mappings for traktor and what i want F3D to take over. Now i need to see if ultimately i can have Traktor + Fighter3D + my two EKS-XP10s running all on same machine. the only issue i see possibly is that traktor runs with one driver for mapping while the XP10's use a different one but i guess we will see if Traktor S4 Pro can recognize everything. Its going to be a while before i get to that point but, i will give it a shot |
Latoria Kavulich 21.11.2012 | A powered USB hub is fine. Personally i run 2 X1's, my X1600 and Midifighter 3D through a hub. The soundcard i still plug into its own port. |
