Sounds weird, but i heard you can only plug a certain amount of laptops into an S4.
Something to do with the software licence.
I'm running a Macbook Pro (I own an S4 but want to leave it at home toevening ).
My friend's laptop is at the club toevening .

I should be able to plug and play right? It is that simple?

The last thing i want is getting down there and having any problems.
Any help much appreciated.
Cheers!!

There is no license lock for Traktor hardware. Anyone with Traktor Pro 2 can use any S4, as long as the drivers are installed.

I bought a 2nd hand S4 off a mate, I plugged it in (he had already previously registered it or just the software, its not clear which and it still is registered) and it worked fine! Played at a gig with it, no problems.
