MacBook Air 2013 and Traktor S4, USB dropouts.

Hello,

Got my brand new MBA 2013 last week. Installed everything and tried it out, worked fine. Went to a gig, played like45 min and then BAM, my S4 dies and the dance floor gets quiet, highly embarrassing. Luckily I had my emergency laptop with me so I was up and running again within 30 seconds.

To the problem. I have researched this problem thoroughly at home now and came to a conclusion. What happened exactly was that the S4 lost its USB connection. Traktor pauses and the only light left on the S4 is the flashing USB symbol, which means no USB connection. When this has happened the USB ports on my MBA is completely dead. I can't connect anything to the computer, not even a simple USB drive. As soon as the computer is restarted everything works fine again. I can transfer large files to my USB 3.0 drive without any problem. As soon as I connect my S4 and starts to play I get roughly 20-50 minutes before it dies.

I've searched the Internet and I'm not the only one that has this problem. Examples:

http://community s.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1620636
http://www.native-instruments.com/f....S4-USB-dropout!
http://www.digitaldjtips.com/community /t...dropouts.9315/ (my own thread)

I haven't contacted NI since it seems that they know about it already and only sends you an automatic answer.

Are there anyone here that has this problem and maybe even a solution? I have tried an older driver, that didn't work. I have tried with an older driver, didn't work. There doesn't seem to be any real solution so far and it's starting to get seriously annoying.

Regards
