Planning my first event. Need info by Friday.

hey guys,

I've played at clubs and now im finally offered to throw a party of my own. If i do good this can turn into a re-occuring type of deal. I am meeting manager on Friday and I want to come up with questions.
1. What day of the week they want me to play?
2. will I be the only dj?
3. Make sure my setup works in terms of technology.
4. The deep music I play in in line with what they expect but I will get more info on that.
5. any expectations that they have of the event and any past lessons.

Am I missing anything?

Also, creating event flyer - any resources that you guys came across? Maybe some good classy templates?

This. The manager wants results, and only has a problem with the means if they can end in legal trouble. Sell them numbers, high admission amount. Sort out what you get paid, sort out what door and drink prices are going to be. Shoot the shit. Remember, they know how bars work better than you, because they manage them, so don't try and downplay their idea, because it probably is better than yours in terms of profit margins.

You don't ask questions of him... you tell him what you are bringing to the table. If you are throwing the party, then the details are up to you. Just make sure you either get 100% of the door or at least 25% of the bar sales.
