Nice to see the kind of tracks I like to play getting a bit of RA love. Two more artists I'd add to this resurgence are
Mondkopf:

and Black Asteroid:

so what artists make your dark, rusty heart skip a beat?

Yes, great detail from our pride Jochem... Also superb use of FX.

Indeed, one of his best. But for me, the most influental, apart from Pull Over, must be Three o Three!!!

Two new releases today on my radar:

Xhin - Dark Tiled Landscape
https://soundcloud.com/tokenrecords/sets/token28-xhin-dark-tiled

Dave Clarke - Wisdom to the Wise (Red 2) remixes
http://www.beatport.com/release/wisd...emixes/1041703

Still wish they'd put the original Red 2 on digital. Legendary.

Love Three o Three! It was cool to hear Gesaffelstein drop it toward the end of his Boiler Room set.

Bas Mooy's another artist with that Rotterdam sound.

Nice tunes. I really like the Phase - Binary Opposition (Inigo Kennedy Process) and the Promotion of Vice tracks. But my longtime favorite is also the Speedy J - Armstrong track. Really love the hard dark bass, glitchy sounds in the background and the (I believe) reverse snare sound at the end of the break. Likely the best track of Speedy J.

My contribution for today: Planetary Assault Systems - Function 4 (Shifted Remix)

Watch it with the lights out, on full screen and with your monitors at max!

Love me some Adam Jay, Luke Creed, & Mr. Jones!

Don't let the intro fool you on this one:

and the unsubscribe_ (Dave Clarke & Mr. Jones) remix is quality:

I second the recommendation for the CLR podcast. Two more I'd say to check out are Dave Clarke's White Noise, and The Public Stand with Rolf Mulder. TPS isn't a podcast, but there's a new one every week on Soundcloud

And if you like any song listed in this thread I highly recommend you subscribe to the CLR podcast. I believe every one here has been played on it, have played on it or at least have been mentioned on it.

Personally, I like the downtempo ambient dub techno a bit more now, it has so much variety.

But for the darker techno, there's one song that cannot be beaten. Technically, nor by its impact!
Of course, I'm talking about: Lance Armstrong!

How it sweeps in after those breaks, like 2:22... Just amazing. Song was made like 5/6 years ago, but many DJ's including Mr. Paapen himself are still playing it.

There's a reason Perc was featured so prominently in that article:

Can't forget Speedy J either:

I don't like the experimental downtempo techno stuff and I thought that Tiger Stripes was a techhouse producer, but this is a real technotrack.
Nice track from A. Mochi:

This was my favorite Tommy Four Seven track of last year. It's a slow burner, and I love the way he gives it space to build:

Thanks for the heads up on Mike Wall! Going through his tracks right now. Quality.

Oh and MOTOR+Gary Numan+Drumcell= downtempo old school industrial goodness.

Agree on Monoloc. Very dark style.

Mike Wall makes some pretty evil live sets. Saw both of them live back to back, it was serious abuse of bass. Loved it. This was the event

Yeah! I thought Monoloc really found his sound last year. Love this one, it sounds great at 125-128 BPM too!

New Indigo Kennedy release is impressive also:
