Pitch faders on Technics 1200 replacement
Posted on: 31.03.2013 by Marisol Eward
So my pitch faders on my technics have gone bad and I understand how to replace them. However the top plate above the pitch fader that is labeled with +8 -8 0 etc.. is very damaged as well and has a huge effect on how easy the fader is to move. It gets stuck on all of the dents in the casing very often. Is there a way to replace that part as well? Or is that mounted to the faceplate? Thanks!

There's no point in trying to save the metal decals. Yes, they are basically stickers that are made of a very pliable sheet metal. You can find replacements on ebay for cheap, maybe around 8-10 dollars.
Thanks for this! Finally found one on ebay for 10 bucks.
