BARGAIN Laptop Stands on Ebay (UK) Posted on: 31.03.2013 by Brunilda Kora http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Tiger-Lapt...item1e78bbe9cb or with AI shelf: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Tiger-Lapt...item20d095f8c6 If you get one of tehse stands, you should get these too: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-x-Cool-B...item1c17029732 Sometimes the arms that your laptop sits on on the stand can obstruct the fans - these little balls lift your lappy to allow cool air to circulate under it. | |

Because of the Z fold and the dimensions of the arms, thickness of steel, its about 10x sturdier than Two Flat bars with 2 self screwed rods to support sway. I have knocked many pieces of gear or seen them knocked off (club goers, other idiots) many times in clubs. I use one in the studio to hold a piece of gear I never touch most of the time but thats about it. To each their own. |

Sanjuana Bravata 31.03.2013 | Got a few of these from Maplins and great value for money. Just wish I could figure out how to make the shelf work!!! Great for Trigger Finger & MIDI keyboard as well as laptops. |
Ngoc Ninow 01.04.2013 | I have two of these stands and love them |
Alphonso Deitchman 31.03.2013 | The Uberstand is also one of the least stable stands out there. A small amount of lube on the Crane Pro's adjustable lever clamps makes them much nicer to use. |
nayit ruiz jaramillo 31.03.2013 | IM A DUMB ASS. I was believeing of the bloody Uber Stand not the Crane Stand. I stand corrected, of course the Crane is awesome. The Uber stand is too high for me to use comfortably. |

nayit ruiz jaramillo 31.03.2013 | Crane stands are way to high for me (5ft 4ins). I tried the foldable Magma stand and it was an atrocious piece of crap. If i wasnt able to leave my stands at the clubs I play I would get a more portable solution. As for the 2 grand Mac. Those stands are more than up to the job and the angle and low height makes them very secure when someone knocks the laptop. Probably less likely to topple than a Crane..? |
Shawn Vanhaitsma 31.03.2013 | I use to be on this bandwagon. But now I prefer stands that travel well, quick setup, and are considerably more sturdy when holding my 2 thousand dollar latop Crane the only way for me now. Thinking about a third one here soon. |
Brunilda Kora 31.03.2013 | Me too...! |

nayit ruiz jaramillo 31.03.2013 | Those stands are totally worth it. I have 4 of them. 2 at home and 1 at each of the 2 local clubs i play at weekly. In fact I left one at another club that got turned into a Chinese restaurant and I left one in the back of a Taxi once when i was pissed after a gig. So altogether I have bought 6. |
