It's not the place you would believe of going to try out headphones, but the one closest to me is a pretty big store and they have a good variety of headphones out on display to try out.

There is a simple method to finding out which headphones are best for YOU.

  • Go to a shop
  • Demo all headphones within budget using 3 tracks you know exactly how they should sound
  • Pick the pair that sounds best to YOU
  • Say thank you Mr. shop assistant I'll believe about it
  • Go home and order headphones online.
There's not many places like said above I could really sample alot of decent headphones , beats and skull candy seems the limit around here ,

The reloop Rhp 10 and Rhp 20 seem really good headphones , if I could get the 20s for 80pound I would be well happy

I would go with Pioneer HDJ-500 or Sol Republic Tracks and MAYBE Numark Redwaves.
Good luck!

Yeah, just save some more money and get some HD25's. All parts replaceable... Need I say more? And they sound fucking boss. I love mine.

Just gonna chime in with an outsider headphone which is not often considered ... Marshall Majors are Fecking fanbloodytastic and within your budget.

Actually going to pick myself up a pair pretty soon as after an exhaustive test of headphones a while ago nothing came close to the comfort and Sound of my 14 year old MDR-V6's for under $200. (except another pair of sony's) Test included TMA-1's, Pioneers, Reloop, Sennheisers, AKG's to name a few.

However I like my phones slightly more top heavy than bass heavy, not something that everyone would want.

Most apple shops carry them here, they might there as well (And alot of other headphones too BTW!)

Admittedly I'm not DJing in mega loud clubs with them, just mobile DJing but they get pretty loud, and they block outside noise pretty well.

yeah ive read alot of good things about them , some bad but 98% good , so look like a good investment

I have only ever used 1 set of headphones, Sennheiser HD205's, which cost me about the same price as the HD25's over a year ago, so that's a good price. And i would not hesitate to recommend Sennheiser headphones, the one's I have have worked perfectly for me over the past year.

Sennheiser HD 280 PROs:

Slightly over budget, but excellent headphones that'll probably beat anything else around

I'm pretty new to them as well, only came across them a few months back but I've been SO tempted to get myself a pair... as soon as my HAM5Xs give up the ghost, I believe I'm going to take the plunge.

Close to the HDJ-2000s, but for a HELL of a lot less. I wouldn't recommend them personally for a top-quality listening experience at home, but for DJing use they're perfect

they look very nice , never seen them before
