DJ Lighting - Cheap, basic light internal mic
Posted on: 05.04.2013 by Yuonne Circosta
Hi I am DJing a house party, specifically a blacklight party and I wanted to pick up a light for the gig. I have been having a hard time finding one that is not too over the top. The room I'm DJing in is pretty small, its about a 16x32 basement. I initially wanted something EXTREMELY simple like two basic strobes that pulse with the peaks of the music, but those are hard to find. Can anyone suggest a basic light for $60 or less that has an internal microphone (i don't want nor need all that DMX stuff) that can chase the audio? I'm also not very familiar with the types of lights, but I was hoping some kind of LED or basic scanner. Also the amount of colors doesn't matter. Any suggestions for types of lights that would be good for this party are very much appreciated.
