Reloop Digital Jockey 2 Interface Edition. Midlands - UK Posted on: 03.04.2011 by Corrin Penney Hi all,I upgraded a little while back and my digital jockey havs been laying about idle ever since. Its time to let this beauty go to a better home. Ive owned it for 2 years or so, never had any issues with it. The onboard soundcard is great and the touch sensetive jogs are really intuitive when playing with effects. As you can see from the images, its in great condition and has been properly cared for. The only recurring problem with this unit is a sticky deck A play button. This has been like this for some time, it has not become better or worse through the units life and can be circumvented with a firm poke rather than a tap, or the use of the CUP button. The thing I like most about this unit is the quality of the faders. Forget that numark tat, these are proper, good quality faders that'll last a lifetime. The crossfader is even better than on my new Ecler mixer! Its loose enough to even allow proper scratch techniques! The encoders were also very well thought out. All push encoders. This makes dealing with the EQ a lot easier, even the S4 doesnt have push kill EQ encoders. The secondary, effects encoders are stepped, this is a little confusing at first, why would they make them stepped? It actually helps a whole lot with the beat repeat/gater effects. Stepped means you never get that awkward "in the middle" value on beatmasher or gater that doesnt sit well in the mix. There are many, many other cool features about the Digital Jockey IE 2, I'll let phil morse educate you a bit more if you like: http://www.digitaldjtips.com/2010/10...roller-review/ Along with the hardware I have all the original packaging and USB lead. Also I have had a custom flight case built specifically for this unit. I can sell the item with or without this. I have also created a custom mapping which reflects the DJTT VCI 100 Fader FX mapping and changed a few other bits and pieces to my style aswell. This will also be included in the sale if you wish. Preferrably I'd like local pickup so I can prove the item works and give a tutorial on how to set it up and how my mapping works inside traktor. Also, if youre a n00b, I can give you a full Traktor tutorial at no extra cost. Any questions, please ask away. Price with flight case: | |
Corrin Penney 07.06.2011 | This is still up for sale. I believe im gonna keep the flightcase now but I'm lowering the price. |
